The Progress® DataDirect® for JDBC™ for Apache Hive™ driver supports SQL and HQL query languages for read-write access to distributions of Apache Hive.

The driver supports the following distributions:

  • Amazon Elastic MapReduce (Amazon EMR)
  • Cloudera Data Platform (CDP)
  • HPE Ezmeral Data Fabric
  • Microsoft Azure HDInsight for Hive
