Bandwidth Limits applied to User
To access the bandwidth limits applied to users:
- Select .
- Select a user by clicking on the linked Username.
- At the bottom of the page, click the Bandwidth limit rules applied to user link.
This page shows all bandwidth limits associated with the current user.
To view or edit a rule, click its hyperlinked name.
To create a new bandwidth limit for file transfers to apply to this user:
- Click OK to return to the previous page.
- From the top menu, select Host > Rules & Notifications > Bandwidth Limits. The Bandwidth Limits page opens.
- Click Create. The Create Bandwidth Limit page opens.
- Enter the information for the new rule and select to apply it to the user or a group to which the user belongs.
- Click Save. The Bandwidth Limits page opens with the new limit listed.
To create a new bandwidth limit for 'Ad Hoc Transfer' to apply to this user:
- Click OK to return to the previous page.
- From the top menu, select Servers > Modules; then select 'Bandwidth Limits for Ad Hoc Transfer'.
- Click Create. The Create Bandwidth Limit for 'Ad Hoc Transfer' page opens.
- Enter the information for the new rule and select to apply it to the user or a group to which the user belongs.
- Click Save. The Bandwidth Limits for 'Ad Hoc Transfer' page opens with the new limit listed.
