Bandwidth Limits applied to User

To access the bandwidth limits applied to users:
  1. Select Host > Users.
  2. Select a user by clicking on the linked Username.
  3. At the bottom of the page, click the Bandwidth limit rules applied to user link.

This page shows all bandwidth limits associated with the current user.

To view or edit a rule, click its hyperlinked name.

To create a new bandwidth limit for file transfers to apply to this user:

  1. Click OK to return to the previous page.
  2. From the top menu, select Host > Rules & Notifications > Bandwidth Limits. The Bandwidth Limits page opens.
  3. Click Create. The Create Bandwidth Limit page opens.
  4. Enter the information for the new rule and select to apply it to the user or a group to which the user belongs.
  5. Click Save. The Bandwidth Limits page opens with the new limit listed.

To create a new bandwidth limit for 'Ad Hoc Transfer' to apply to this user:

  1. Click OK to return to the previous page.
  2. From the top menu, select Servers > Modules; then select 'Bandwidth Limits for Ad Hoc Transfer'.
  3. Click Create. The Create Bandwidth Limit for 'Ad Hoc Transfer' page opens.
  4. Enter the information for the new rule and select to apply it to the user or a group to which the user belongs.
  5. Click Save. The Bandwidth Limits for 'Ad Hoc Transfer' page opens with the new limit listed.
