This major release of Progress Data Cloud includes enhancements, bug fixes, and security updates.

Breaking changes (SharePoint Online only)

• Several Progress Data Cloud SharePoint Online API endpoints were accessible to authenticated users without a specific role assignment, allowing configuration updates even when explicit permission was not granted. For security reasons, these endpoints now require specific roles before they can be used. Users or service accounts calling these endpoints must be updated to include the appropriate security role(s). See SharePoint Online API Role Requirement Changes for details. [#31994]

Enhancements

Hosted services

• An initial version of the Flow Conductor service is available for early access to specific customers. [#31644]
• The management of hosted service API endpoints has been adjusted to be more consistent and logical. The Infrastructure Manager role can now adjust endpoint configuration for any service, while the API User role can be used to manage endpoints for Semaphore services only. Endpoint modification for MarkLogic services remains unchanged. [#28886]
• Semaphore Studio now appears as a service on the Services page. This makes the service easier to manage and improves visibility. [#29200]
• The Concept Server provisioning and configuration process now allows selection of MarkLogic Server instances in other environments. This gives both the Progress Data Cloud operations team and clients more flexibility in using their MarkLogic Server resources. [#28536]

Minor

• Links to the Support and Learning pages were added to the help menu to make it easier for users to access support resources. Links to other published documentation were also added. [#30603] [#22230]
• To avoid confusion, the default value is now displayed when generating a new API key instead of placeholder text. [#29588]
• The naming of MarkLogic databases created for Semaphore Concepts Server and Semaphore Studio services is now more logical and consistent for database management. [#28400]

Bug fixes

General

• The tenant note editor was not functioning correctly, and this is now fixed. [#35760]

Minor

• Fixed a minor issue that allowed valid users to download the web.config file. This is now prevented. [#21867]
• Fixed an issue where users accessing a service endpoint in a web browser without signing in saw an error instead of being redirected to the login page. They are now redirected to the login page before access is granted. [#36074]
