To add a header modification rule, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to the relevant LoadMaster WUI.
  2. In the menu on the left, select Rules & Checking and Content Rules.
  3. Click Create New.

A number of rule types can be added. The Add Header, Delete Header, Replace Header, and Modify URL Rule Type options all modify the HTTP stream in some way. For information about what each of the fields mean, refer to the Content Rules WUI Options section. For Replace Header and Modify URL rules, shell syntax or Perl Compatible Regular Expressions (PCRE) style regular expressions can be used. For information on regular expressions, refer to the PCRE section.
