Authentication ensures that only the authorized users are allowed to connect to an Oracle Service Cloud instance.

The Oracle Service Cloud driver supports the User ID/password authentication method of authentication. This method authenticates the user to an Oracle Service Cloud instance using the user ID and password specified by the application.
