Note: The ADO and ADO.NET clients are currently available only in OpenAccess SDK 8.1. However, they are compatible with the OpenAccess SDK 9.0 server.
This guide provides the procedures you need to install each component of the DataDirect OpenAccess SDK. It assumes that you are familiar with your operating system and its commands; the concept of directories; the management of user accounts and security access; and your network protocol and its configuration.

Installing OpenAccess SDK Server and IP provides installation instructions for OpenAccess SDK Server in a client/server configuration, including instructions for installing the OpenAccess SDK Manager on the same OpenAccess SDK server.

Installing the Local Client for ODBC and IP SDK provides installation instructions for OpenAccess SDK Local Client for ODBC and IP SDK in a local configuration.
