The Semaphore Fact Extraction Framework (FACTS)

width for context

Usually, when we use a context with the form “… In Paragraph(s) / Sentence(s)” that means that all facts / anchors / contexts should be found within a single sentence / paragraph.

However, the “(s)” hints at the possibility of allowing for more sentences / paragraphs to be used to look for the evidence in. This is indeed possible by using the “width for context” integer metadata on such contexts.

If used (that is, it has a value of 2 or more) then it relaxes that default single sentence / paragraph constraint to one in which the facts / anchors / contexts will be looked for in N consecutive sentences / paragraphs.
