As a guest user sender, you can initiate sending of files to a recipient. This is similar to sending an email with attachments.
After you register, the Send a package page opens.
The From field shows your email address. The To field shows the recipient (which you entered when you self-registered).
- Enter a Subject and a Note. (Whether or not the note is required depends upon your site
settings.)
The padlock icon to the left of the Note box appears open or locked depending upon the Secure the Note default set by the administrator. (You might have a per package override checkbox in Options below.)
- Locked: This note will appear in the package, but it will not appear as part of a new package notification email.
- Open: The note will be included in
the new package notification email.
If your organization allows it, an HTML rich text editor is available to users of Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Mozilla browsers with JavaScript enabled. You can change the font, size, alignment, and color of the note content, format lists, and include links.
You might also have a Check Spelling button available.
- Optionally add files. How you add files depends on whether you have
enabled a wizard. See Configure the
Upload/Download Wizard to learn about the benefits of using the wizard,
and how to install and enable it or disable it if necessary.
- No wizard enabled: Click Choose File or Browse, select one file, and then click Upload. To add multiple files to the package, click Add another file.
