Specifies the type of sequence to be looked for.

Normally would use TYPE attribute and let CS work out that it is applying to a sequence rule and so means SEQUENCTYPE

Values

  • “text” - Sequence is found if text (words) in the document are in sequence. This is the default and identical to a phrase rule
  • “sentence” - Sequence is found if children are in sequential sentences
  • “paragraph” - Sequence is found if children are in sequential paragraphs
  • “text_loose” - Sequence is found if text (words) are in a sequence or the same token. This used to be the behaviour of phrase rule and only differs in edge cases
  • “sentence_loose” - Sequence is found if children are in sequential or the same sentence
  • “paragraph_loose” - Sequence is found if children are in sequential or the same paragraph
