Client Information for Connections

The Oracle data provider allows applications to store and return the following types of client information associated with a particular connection:
- Name of the application
- User ID
- Host name of the client
- Additional accounting information, such as an accounting ID
- Product name and version of the Oracle data provider
This information can be used for database administration and monitoring purposes. Refer to the DataDirect Connect Series for ADO.NET Reference for details.
